Welcome to the Village of Geneva~on~the~Lake! Established in 1869, we are located on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie in Ashtabula County, Ohio. For over 15o years, Ohio's First Summer Resort has attracted generations of vacationers, including some famous names like John D. Rockefeller, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford. Back in those early 1900's days, they along with hundreds of thousands of others, came to camp, fish, swim and just have fun. Those humble beginnings helped pave the way for our Village to grow and prosper through the years. Now, in 2021, Geneva~on~the~Lake is home to our own 18-hole Municipal Golf Course, Geneva State Park & Marina, The Lodge and Conference Center at Geneva State Park, the "Strip" featuring numerous retail, dining, lodging, amusement and entertainment establishments, as well as several wineries, bars, pubs and breweries. With all that we offer, it's no wonder that vacationers from all around the world continue to flock here for some fun in the sun!
